Hi,

I am preparing for a few months in London on business.

So, I was hoping for some hints on exhibitions, woodworking shows, tool shops or other things of interest to a woodworker during the next year.

Any tips highly appreciated :)

Regards,
Per

I enthusiastically second the vote for the V&A museum. Last time I was in London I spent an entire day in there eyeing up every dovetail I could find.

+1 for the V&A - they have just opened a new furniture gallery too.

A smaller, quieter museum is the Geffrye Museum in Shoreditch (East London). In a beautiful old almshouse they show a sequence of domestic interiors from 1600 to the present day.

Sadly, they don't have their pole-lathe turner's workshop on display at present, but here are a few of the rooms. Admission is free.
