Just read some posts from 2007 about spindle moulders and The Book of Furniture Making.
And writer wondering where the author has gone.
I'm alive and well, working wood and living in Kentish Town (some of the time).

I made your ply settee - on instructions from Pamela. (see PM).
And have several of your books. All that spindle stuff is now deprecated in favour of "safety" versions but I confess to sticking to the old ways!

The first chairs I ever made were from your design - 3x1 and dowels IIRC. Plus I made your bench. The chairs had a short life, but the bench is still in use in a mate's shed!
