Right, they say you can never have too many clamps...well I think I might have.

I'm intrigued by such a large collection of that clamp type. I have a few for special purposes but they are very "gentle" and I would not use them for general purpose clamping -- wonder why you have so many?

Good question.. the answer is that a few years ago ( about five) a large tool shop (axminster type) went bust and a liquidator in southend did sales every other sat for about 6 months(with about 600 lots in each one)
I only missed one of these.. got some good bargins, but also got carried away sometimes (I also have around 170 trend router cutters still in their wax.... After selling this lot I still have 20-30 left for, as you say, delicate clamping.
