Had a good fortnight making a couple of jobs with shaker doors, both solid timber and mdf.

Thanks to Doctor Bob for sharing his knowledge on his workshop open day.

And thanks to Bernie for coming and giving me a hand this week. ( With a free sharpening lesson. Not going to say which technique! )

Bobs way of making them is on the site somewhere I think.

Cheers guys

Nathan

Only to pleased to help out Nathan , not quite as fast as Bobs team on the shaker doors but if we had the wood welder and speed sander i dont think we would be far off . After using your panel saw been trying to work out how i could fit one in to my garage workshop . Glad the sharpening lesson was useful , i think your rusty No 4 was glad i gave it a 10 minute work out :D But i suspect there will be just as few shavings on your floor as in Bobs , no hand tools used in hand made kitchens these days. Not that there is anything wrong with that , i just enjoy using hand tools for some of my work.

Cheers Bern :D
