I asked recently on here for some advice on door locks for my new french doors. Jake posted that he had a set going cheap.

Anyway I received them today, wrapped in 200m of bubblewrap, 100m cardboard, 4 lengths of cable sheathing and at least 1 roll of packing tape!

Arf, and some wood down the middle!

Awkward pippers to pack - 7 ft long bits of 20mm x 3mm steel, with gert big heavy lock bits hanging off them, and you just know what couriers are like for chucking things around.

Nice one, Jake. Your packing comments remind me of some photos I received through the post. Clearly labelled "Photos- Do Not Bend" and clearly written underneath just above the crease line in the folded envelope was the handwritten comment "Oh yes they do".
