Hi
I need a small amount of teak veneer for a repair, the only supplier I can find sells .6mm sheets which is rather thin for my purpose (unless I build it up in layers to about I.5 mm which with my level of veneering skill is asking a bit much).
Can any one here recommend a supplier?

Thanks

John

No idea on a supplier, but why not glue up three 0.6 layers between flat surfaces surfaces clamped together using PVA or something like that to stick it.

A layer of cling film on each of the flat surfaces is very effective to stop the glue sticking to them....

Whats a small amount? can you bandsaw it from a bit of solid?

Oh John,

I wish you had said sooner I could have posted some to you with the other bit of Teak!

Thanks everyone

After a lot of searching Capital Crispin are sending me a couple of offcuts.

Sadly no bandsaw - I'm steaming this veneer to go round a curve (well that's the plan) and I think laminating it would have complicated matters
