Had a change from the Yew today, even though i still have a few pieces left to do so turned to one of two lumps of Spalted Sycamore i have.
I tried this lump last week but the tenon kept breaking and i could not get a good finish on it anyhow as i thought it had gone too far,so left it for another day which was today. :D
Re-mounted it and put a larger tenon on after getting back to some better firmer wood and all was fine.
Inside i have applied food safe oil but used Sealer and wax on the outer.
Sizes are 220mm by 100mm with about 5mm wall thickness.
