Hi folks,
Can anybody point me to a supplier of seasoned wood/tree slices, please? The diagonally cut type approximately 250mm to perhaps 500mm wide x (whatever) high and around 20mm or 25mm thickness. I've found one or two suppliers on e bay but they all seem to be offering them cut down to 10mm in thickness. Too thin for my purpose unfortunately.

Hello there
You could specify what type of timber you're after, i.e a softwood or a hardwood at the least,
some might be able to suggest something for you,
Unsure if you want construction lumber with heavily rounded edges, or stuff what you can join together with crisp edges,
and you might as well mention if you actually want roughsawn planks, skip planed, or thicknessed.
I take it whatever high is... you might take what length you can get,
and guessing diagonally cut is referring to riftsawn planks?

I believe there is a timber yard map on this site, and possibly on TWH2.
Here's some recent threads which may help ya out, should that be what your looking for.

That's about the best I can do for ya, most others here can give you a better answer than I could.

Using my mind reading skills I'd say the op is looking for oblique cut branch wood for making house name plates.
Best advice would be to contact someone local that does firewood logs or a tree surgeon but you would have to dry them yourself.
