I recently processed some spalted beech logs at work with Northumberland Wildlife Trust and rather than just turn the mountain of blanks myself I thought I'd try to sell them to the local club members.

The trees have been down either 2 or 3 years and the logs were left long. I had a day slabbing them and the moisture content on the cut surfaces appears to be just over 20%.

Any suggestion on how to price them? I think our usual supplier works by volume but these aren't square so that's going to be tricky. I don't often buy large blanks (as I have access to plenty :D ) so don't know how much they tend to go for.

Here's a photo of some of the blanks
