I've bought 500ml of Chestnut Cellulose Sanding Sealer, I intend to brush it on, can I place some on a saucer as I can't possibly get an inch brush into the container.

I used a mug this morning, cellulose can melt plastic.
I also diluted it a little with thinners, I find it easier to apply on larger areas

I also dilute with cellulose thinners - I use an old screw top jar that I can get a brush in and also reseal.

I take no credit for this idea, in fact I think I pinched it from these forums. My sanding sealer lives in an old honey-jar with a metal lid. The brush is a cookery basting brush, turned with a step to fit through a hole in the lid, and another piece of wood drilled the size of the turned-down brush, to glue over the top of the lid and hold it all together.
