Stringing

Does anybody know where I can get some 1mm thick Silver Nickel Stringing? This place (linked below) sells it, but it only comes in 0.5mm thinkness and I'm after snadwiching it into some other bits of timber to make a bigger bit of stringing.

One other thing.....where do people buy there Ebony from?

Ebony stringing from Capital Crispin Veneers.

Solid ebony (in small blocks) from the likes of Aminster, John Boddy et al.

Sorry, don't know about silver nickel.

Is that Ebony stringing that you used on the edges or was it solid?

Simon,

It was 6mm square ebony lines on the edges of the legs - less by the time it had been scraped in of course.

I have lots more pics of the table, but I don't want to spread them around, as I'm saving my powder for a possible article about the making of the table.
