Stolen my wood.

A year ago, as an experiment. I bought two large Aah logs from a tree surgeon, who kindly took them to a sawmill to slice up. I picked them up, and carefully stacked them to dry at a country house I do work for. Just before Christmas , my friend who works there, rang me to tell me that the whole lot had been stolen overnight (40 + 50mm planks). Only posting as it was a year ago today I picked the timber up.arrgghhh

Yes I hate thieves, suffered from the ba stards all my life. I thought it might be a type of timber I haven’t heard of so looked it up.
Australian architectural or Appellation antique hardwoods. presume it’s ash lol.
