i need a new blade for my startrite 275 table saw and was wondering what you guys recommend and from where i mostly use the saw for ripping but would also like a blade for a nice clean cut

What sort of lengths / depths do you rip? If it's long / thick boards, you need a low tooth blade like the Freud Pro 24T. If it's just light work, you could get away with the 40T or even a 60+T.

Generally, the less teeth the better a blade is at ripping, but the more teeth the cleaner the cut. How clean and sharp the teeth are also comes in to play.
 
Try to 24-36 tooth for ripping and a 72-96 for fine cutting... One blade to do everything isn't ideal
