Another tool in my collection. A Stanley #65 with the knuckle joint lever cap. I have boxes of early manufactured tools that haven't seen daylight for over 10yrs.

Stewie;

Hi Stewie,
a nice plane in mint conditions.
Will you use it or it's only for collection?

Ciao

That's a lovely plane there Stewie. I bought a no. 65 a couple of years ago, however, I had to import it from the States like so many of my collection planes. They are like hen's bloody teeth in the UK, so well done to you on an absolutely lovely purchase - with the box as well (NICE).

Hi Mr P. The replacement blade listed has the correct width. I cant provide you with an answer on the combatability of the slot width or groove adjustment pattern.

Stewie;

Thanks Stewie and Jonny,

Jonny has confirmed via pm that the WH footprint iron above looks right but his iron is a replacement, does anyone else own one of these and can supply measurements of the hole.

Thanks,
Carl
