Came across this video while doing some research into segmented turning. May prove useful to someone. (hammer)

I don't think Dragons Den would be able to cope with the scale of the sales it would generate.

Looked again and I think the end cap need the tabs with the screw holes so it can be attached to the underside of the table.

Use drainage pipe, and get a flange piece. The flange piece can be drilled to accept screw holes for attaching to the bench/table
