I'd like to try and repair a bench at my tennis club, the top rail of the backrest has broken where the sides of the backrest are screwed into it. It's probably not a very well constructed piece of furniture, but it's a memorial bench for a member who died of a heart attack, on court, and the inscription is engraved into the rail itself, so it's worth saving if possible.
So, does anyone have any small offcuts of teak I could buy? Obviously I'll need to measure it up to get a rough size, but I thought I'd test the water here first.
