Hi,

I'm looking to purchase a sliding mitre saw to help with a fairly large decking project i'm starting in our back garden. The problem is there are so many to choose from and i could do with some advise on manufacturers etc. I need the saw to be able to cut 145mm decking at 45 degrees and was hoping to keep cost within £150 if possible.

Also i will be using this in my workshop after decking which is fairly small so im looking for as compact a saw as possible(if thats at all possible).

I was looking at the saw below but was not able to find dimensions anywhere, any thoughts or other recomendations?

I got the next model up (£169) - mint saw.

nice, confidently solid operation.

Lee J, do you know the dimensions of your saw, specifically the depth (it's minimum depth)

Cheers

Perhaps try looking into an Einhell one, considerably better than any of the stuff Screwfix churns out. also cheaper.
