The drive belt failed on my SIP 01364 and so I went to the SIP site to source a replacement, and found the belt is SIP part no. 61475. I then found they want £54 for it, which considering its about 320mm long and 10mm wide is outrageous!
Determined not to pay £54 I searched about and found 'Simply Bearings' of leigh in Lancashire. A very helpful lady said she could not match it on numbers, but if I were to measure it carefully (old belt had no markings) she could probably match it. I did this and she suggested belt 4/330PJ/130_4 ribs at a cost of £6 including P&P. It arrived the next day, It fits perfectly and the saw is working again. Saved £48!! How do they get away with it?
