Congratulations :)

Do a google search on this planer and you get loads of hits inc suppliers of blades.

The first may also be able to help with hood.

A manual is easy that is just a variation on the same machine, so charnwood/axminster etc all sell the same machine

Apart from the base this is the machine, and manual available on this page :)

Also you can use the blades from that machine

thank you very much . I will contacted axminster our sip and see what they say on the dust hood, and the blades i will get from ebay and see what they are like and then the next thing is go up to the flat get some one to put some oak threw the planer and see how noisy it is they sound proof the celling then go and see how noisy it is then hope fully i can go and make some furniture at night after work . thank you

I have the exact same machine - once set up properly you want be disappointed. I got mine second hand last year and needed to add a blade guard as well as a few other plastic bits and screws for it - I got them all from the powertoolspares website (search for model number HC260 which is the Metabo equivalent).

thanks guys i've just ordered all the parts and blades and now got the manual can not wait to get the planer all running fine so i can plane some oak instead of taking it to work just need band saw next and a bigger dovetailer jig
