I've been using a 2 part sikkens walnut stain on a birch faced plywood tissue box. I've applied 2 coats of the base (sanding in between coats) and 1 final top coat.
Do I just leave the top coat as the finish now or can I apply a beeswax (or similar) on top of the sikkens or does the top coat need to be left to breathe?
