Shops near HULL

I find myself at a loose end next Friday in Hull are there any shops suppliers that I might vist to pass the time? I am a total newbie have my lathe (ML8) but not put chisel to timber yet.

You might have to travel a bit furthur Tin, Snainton woodturning near Scarborough is good for a trip out. Nowhere else I can think of nearer Hull.
