Setting up a planer/thicknesser...Please remind me

Can someone please remind me in what order to set one up. I think its

Outfeed table to cutter block.
outfeed to infeed
the blades to the outfeed.

Is there a recomended distance from the outfeed to the cutter block?

Outfeed table to cutter block - you mean adjust outfeed table to match cutter block

outfeed to infeed - don't you mean infeed to outfeed, you adjust the infeed table to match the outfeed.
