segmented lamp made from walnut and sycamore with an oak base.

oak burr with bark and still some moss stuck to it.

Lamp looks great - see you took the tip for "photograph in natural light if you can" :wink:

Any work-in-progress pictures for the lamp ? Would love to see the construction/assembly process.

yes mate i took your advice for the pic but i still cant get the crisp clean photo that i want.
and there were no construction plans for that lamp as it was all done in my head.
i just made several segmented rings of slightly different sizes and glued the lot together.
to be honest mate it was going to be a matching pair of bowls but i dream alot and this is the result
