Hi,

This is my first attempt at this so here goes!

I have been asked to make and fit wooden secondary glazing ot 2 windows in a victorian house (c1860) the windows are original and in very good condition. The owner does not want plastic, she's envoronmentally conscious, but wooden ones that she can paint.

One window is a large bay window about 6foot high x 8 made up in 3 sections. The other window is about 6foot square in 3 sections.

Making the frames is OK; glazing is just expensive! but what about sealing the frames to the existing one? would it need any ventilation? The lady has asked that the centre panels are in 2 so that the top one can be removed in the summer - any thoughts? :?
