Hello all,
Does anyone know anything about 'Sanderson's Droichead Nua'? They were an tool manufacturer based in Newbridge (Droichead Nua is the Gaelic name of the town) in County Kildare in Ireland. I have found some references to them making files in 1955; but, nothing after that.
I have a steel-backed back saw, which, I inherited from my uncle, which has a nice feel to it. I haven't posted any pictures as it is covered in rust. I tried a bit of brasso and sawblade cleaner during an impulsive moment; which is when I saw the name.
Regards,
David
