i need to re-install firefox as it keeps crashing and having to reboot the comp system all the time is getting irksome, how do i save all my bookmarks from it and load into the new install when completed please..

Too many bookmarks slow down your browser. The only Bookmarks I have on my browser are the sites I haunt.

The sites I just want to keep for future reference; (like suppliers, for instance), I drag to the desktop and then delete them from the browser.

On the desktop, I organise the link-shortcuts into named folders, inside a Master Folder called Personal Bookmarks.
Just open the required folder and all the links are clickable; I.e, the browser opens and you go straight to the page from the desktop.

HTH :D

Sounds like a plan John, for some reason i have had to delete firefox and it is causing my comp to crash after a few minutes running, the chap is on his way to come and fix it so dont know how long i may be off line, but thanks anyway..

You're welcome Steve,

I am sure it would work whatever browser you use though. Any link will work from the desktop (Hard drive)
It would be simple to bookmark a page, then bring up the list and transfer it there and then. Job done.
Hope you get past the crashes!

:D
