asking for some advice on where to buy sandpaper rolls for my jet 16 /22 drum sander any suggestions please cheers john

Basically, any brand of antistatic, paperbacked sandpaper will do. Sia, Hermes, 3M and Mirka make good sandpaper and all can be bought in 115mm x 50m rolls. There are other brands about but these have never failed me.

I have found that Mirka jepuflex sandpaper works very very well. Ran hundreds of end grain boards through it.

Dont go for any brand of net sandpaper though. It stretches on the drum.
Paper backed may rip so i reinforce the ends with some aluminium tape

I second not using net sanding paper. I use mirka a lot, and its brilliant except when I stretch a piece along my 12" sanding block held at each end with toggle clamps. It goes baggy very quickly.
