RS 6 to 10

I spent the day converting my RS 6 to a 10, much easier than originally thought possible.
Step 1 support with block and tackle, back up with farm jack
Step 2 cut rear leg to new height
Step 3 remove bolts from head unit
Step 4 lower and bolt back into position
Step 5 make and install spacer block
Step 6 modify tool rest
all done !
I'm now the proud owner of a RS 10

Full marks for tackling the heavy lift and work.

Not planning to turn too many slimline pens in the near future then

I try to limit myself to smallish trees!

I figure if I can lift it, then its fair game.

I'll try them pen yokes after I've worn all my chisels down to nubs!
