Router table

Hello all

I am thinking about purchasing a router table
I have a small shed so I require something that will not take up too much space

Any suggestions please

I have been looking at the Bosch RA1181 but there is a mixture of good and bad reviews

Do you want something to tuck away when not in use or a floor standing machine.

I have the Trend CraftPro table for shed duties. It lives in a cupboard in the house when not in use as shed space is always at a premium!

I made a basic sturdy stand for it with fold down legs to make it the same height as the workbench to give some outfeed support. The table itself ain't big so the extra support comes in real handy. The stand was originally fixed to the wall and would fold flat against it... but even that ended up getting in the road so it was retrofitted with additional fold down legs to make it portable.

There's plenty videos of fold down tables on YouTube if you fancy rolling your own.

I bought one of these as a stop gap: http://www.rutlands.co.uk/sp+woodworkin ... nds+dk2080 I was pleasantly surprised how good it was for the money, complete with router and lift its a bit of a bargain.
