I bought an Aldi Workzone nail gun a couple of weeks ago and it seemed OK, today I went to use it and noticed a nail had jammed. I couldn't get it out so I tried to undo the Allen key screws on the front to unjam it but two of the screws were really tight and one of the Allen screw heads has rounded and I can't unscrew it.
Are there any tips to unscrew a rounded Allen screw head or is it a case of claiming off the warranty?

Glen.

Depending on how much space there is around it, you can use a little cutting wheel in a mini drill to cut a slot for a flat bladed screwdriver.

If it isnt recessed, a pair of gas pliers (pipe grips) will loosen it.
If its completely recessed and you dont want to warranty return it, then its a case of using a stud extractor.
But if its warranted, what the hell are you doing faffing about with it?

Yeah, new from Aldi with 3year warranty, I'll get in touch to get it sorted.

Thanks.
