How you going Dave?

The immortal Trigger - one of my favourite comedy memories is "Trigger's Broom":

Trigger has just been presented with an award for saving the council money.

Trigger: And that's what I've done. Maintained it for 20 years. This old brooms had 17 new heads and 14 new handles in its time.
Sid: How the hell can it be the same bloody broom then?
Trigger: There's the picture. What more proof do you need?

RIP.

Don't forget Vicar of Dibley and harry Potter. Sorely missed.

His socially awkward farmer in VofD was fantastic - cringe inducing comedy at its best. He had a gift for portraying ridiculous characters that were still almost recognisable as people you know.

At my work there's a relative of Roger, his wife is Rogers niece - I'll show him this thread so he can show his wife. Gary (co-worker) said Roger was a very nice guy, down to earth and not at all "showbiz" - we were only talking about him just before xmas as his name came up in conversation and Gary just dropped in "oh yeah, I know him, he was at my wedding; he's my wife's uncle, gave us a crate of vintage wine for a wedding present."

From what I can tell he was just as unassuming in real life as he was on set, he was great in VoD.

If she replies I'll pass those on here.

"If it's a girl they're calling her Sigourney after an actress," he said of Del Boy's child-to-be. "And if it's a boy they're naming him Rodney, after Dave."
