Great guys. I have been after a 7/8ths x 16 convertor insert for my nova chuck for about 3 years.......finally, after seeing one of sorby's adverts and a quick phone call to confirm I have an insert to fit the chuck to my coronet major (the big purple one....all 400lbs of it...i know...i just moved it and its base which is an angle iron reinforced oak cabinet :shock: ) Most of these were 3/4 x16 thread....I have two in my possession (one was bought for "spares" the one i use was my father-in laws' ...BOTH are 7/8 x 16 :-k . marvelous machines. Though i have NO intentions of using the spindle moulding facility that they possess :evil:

Glad you got sorted Looks like I have just bought a maroon Major as well. Pick it up on Friday will see what I'm missing then.,
