Absolutely cracking day. Friendliest AirShow I've ever been to. Excellent static display. Even a chance to have a really good look at the A-10 Warthog as they let people in to walk around. Cloud level a bit too low for the full-on Arrows or Vulcan display but nevertheless a great show. The finale with 14 airborne choppers was a first. RIAT next weekend !!

Phil, that's very kind of you but I think this year I will probably be AirShow'd out by then!

Just looked at the flying list for RIAT 2015 and I counted fifteen - yes, 15 - flying Spitfires and Hurricanes. Now if they are ALL in the air at the same time and being the anniversary and all they could well be....that will be a real lump in the throat.
