Hi

Any ideas if I can get a replacement fence for my kity 1619 table saw?

I'd prefer an after market version if it were available.

My current fence is beyond repair unfortunately as the handle/thread to tighten it has sheared off.

Cheers

Either ebay or maybe make your own? Have a look on youtube/ google for making a biesemeyer fence. :)

+1.

Aftermarket fences are common across the pond, but not so here. somebody was selling one not so long ago in the forsale saction- I bought his first one.

Will the biesemeyer clamp ok on the existing rail or do you think it'll need modifying?

i think that it will need modifying- normally 50x50mm box section

+1 for 50x50 rails. Standard size off the shelf. You can make one with virtually no metalworking skills beyond sawing, drilling and tapping. No welding. I used a toggle clamp as the locking mechanism. It's rock solid and as smooth as a baby's nether regions. Total cost about £60, and that included the top-quality toggle clamp.
