Could you give me details because a bike frame exceeds their size limits and needs to be under 20kg, postage is a vast expense for me
A bike frame itself normally weighs about 2kg and entire bike is usually under 15kg
I get a bike box off the local bike shoppe they arrive there in. Its pretty big, Actual cardboard bike boxes are about 58"x40"x9" or thereabouts.. For frames i usually make something in 6mm mdf.

Parcelforce 48 is about the cheapest. Up here we have Paisley Freight, which is of similar price, but they can uplift from you.

Some of you gents talked about record power warranties. Years ago, a mate of mine who is a lawyer explained this to me. A Warranty is nothing more than an indemnification contract by a manufacturer against future legal actions that might arise, esp. class action lawsuits. Its limits legal exposure in exchange for a service period that is known to be valid. These days, its very hard to get any company to honor a warranty directly. You still often have to pay for shipping and service. So I gave up on warranties as slick lip service years ago. With shop kit, you either have to repair it or hire a service specialist to repair it. With many modern, asian machines, bear in mind that they change the models up almost yearly it seems. A side effect is that many vendors of these machines, whether or not their name is painted on the machine or not, never keep inventories of spares. So if you need a spare for that slick modern band saw, your out of luck. Thae side effect of this is that the supply of used old school iron has gone way down while the demand for it is through the roof. The rebuilders are overtime and now rebuilding some of the worst rust wrecks you have ever seen. Pattern work has been pretty good, the small foundaries are running long lead times and rebuilt machines are getting stupid money with short market windows. I buy every basket case Oliver, Tannewitz or Wadkin I can that I know is in demand.
