Record Power Bench Grinders (200mm at least)

It seems that some bright spark at Record Power has managed to save 20p or so and ignored the suggested "Industry Standard" and CBN wheels do not fit anymore, the shaft is too short to allow the 5/8" outer washer to contact the shaft.It seems the slightly older models worked so someone has screwed up.
I have contacted them but do not hold out much hope.

Interesting to know, thanks. My Silverline grinder is giving up and I was thinking about replacing it with a Record..... :roll:

It seems the newer wheels are 19mm and shafts reduced to fit them rather than longer spacers etc. thus not allowing CBN wheels to be fitted. I just had Mike Waldts excellent video to go on, never considered what wheels were actually fitted as I was going to dump them.
