Has any one invested or any thoughts of upgrading their Record bs350 upper bearing to the Yandles RPRG1 it is advertised on their web pages Tools & Machines.

I don't have them but they look a bit flimsy being made from three blocks of alloy bolted together rather than a machined billet. 50mm loss of depth of cut over standard bearings isn't good either. I also don't like the orientation of the top bearing, they aren't designed to take loads on one edge like that. Price is ok and they are a nice colour though!
