I have ordered a new sip saw and will require a mobile base for it.
Has anybody got any recommendations.
My floor is concrete but not the best finish in the world.

Hi
I have a couple of Axminster mobile bases and use them on a pretty rough concrete floor. They are less than ideal IMHO and I will soon build proper lockable castored cabinets with the machine on top. The main problem is that the lift is very small an the castors on the unit are low quality.
They have fulfilled their purpose, just...! Now they need to be changed for a better system.
As always you get what you pay for.

I recommend large lockable castors with hard rubber or similar tyres ,on a base made on your new saw to your own design.

:D If you know someone who can weld then get them to build it :D ask waka to show you photos of his its realy good

martyn :D

Yep I have decided to make my own base with castors as
it seems to be the best way to go.
only thing I need now is the base dimensions for the sip saw
and I can have it made before the saw arrives.

Hi mike.

If it is the SIP 01332 10" saw, I can get the dimensions for you tomorrow. Just let me know.
