Just wondering ,,,how many of you use R.A.S. ?? I have a project in mind of using a Rotary Table and the router set up instead of the saw blade. Just can't fathom how to get the router to plunge. I have not yet got the Dewalt 125 router [/u]bracket. Not too sure what they look like. The table will of course be underneath and will enable rossettes etc. etc.to be formed

You'd plunge by lowering the arm, but I'd expect that in doing so you're going to introduce a degree of vibration that will mess up the plunge.

I'm a big fan of RAS's, but I have to say that I'd just get some templates and a handheld router if you're wanting to do rosettes etc.

Why not simply buy an overhead router, they are incredibly cheap on eBay. Everyone seems to be getting rid if them in I reference for a CNC router table.
