Hello,
I have a DeWalt DW720 radial arm saw, it is in good condition overall but has an issue with play in the column.
With the blade at 90degrees the arm is locked in place, holding the saw square. however when i raise the column to angle the blade to 45degrees the lock on the arm isn't as secure meaning the
arm can pivot very slightly.
i have taken off the top cover to reveal the the lock against the column, this is working fine. I think the movement must be around the base of the column where it fixes to the frame.
I have tightened all the screws at the base of the column but this didn't help.
Any help would be appreciated
thanks
