Problems with sharpening system

I have the Sorby system with the fingernail and standard grind adapter. The problem I have with it is that there is just so much "play" in the components as to make for an inconsistent grind. I have tightened all the bits that can be tightened. It just doesnt seem to me that well made for the money. Does anyone else have a similar problem with it? I am considering selling it on and adopting a new system. I'd welcome people's views on it.

I'm happy with mine, it doesn't seem to have any play in it. The only thing I don't like about it is changing between the fingernail profiler and the platform for skews, roughing gouges etc. Could really do with two I suppose...

I'm very happy with mine as well, there is a bit of play with the sranderd grind attachment but only with the 3/4' roughing gunge which i find managable.
