Hi
I’m using a combination of wickes smooth/planed pressure treated spruce C16 timber and wickes planed pressure treated pine decking to create a bespoke climbing frame for my kids.
There will be cut ends and drill holes.
How should I treat the cut ends (some will be close to the ground but not on it- I won’t cut the ends that sit on the grass).
Can I apply decking oil on top? What’s the best treatment for both the timber and decking?
Do I need to do anything to the timber apart from the cut ends?
I do have mangers creotec from 2015 which I used to treat garden border fence. If I used that, what (if anything) would I apply on top?
Decking needs to be maintained so kids can’t slip.
Thanks & appreciate any advice (sorry for all the questions)
