Hi Just thought I would show the boxes I made for my daughters and my wife made from Ash, Walnut, Meranti and Popular .The letters where cut on my scroll saw the mitre keys on the router table hand finished with about 8 coats of Danish Oil then waxed sorry no WIP I have been at them a while.

Very nice - lucky ladies. Really miss making boxes - we moved and I need to build a new workshop! May I ask what the sloped bit on the right is for? Earrings?

Hi the sloped bit is for rings I have cut slots in each segment or for ear rings I suppose they can stick them into the foam below the felt.
