Post your mushroom pictures and types of wood!

Hi, was thinking of making a few mushrooms for the kids to take in for there christmas fayre, to earm money for the school. If people could post pics and the different woods and finishes they have used to make them. So that I have a idea for the best effect/color. Thanks.

Ive used box wood and using fiddes stripped pine finish on this one. (hammer)

These are my most favorite 'fairy Toadstools' I've made ..... I call them that as I love all things fairy, glitter and bling!!! .... it's all about the fairys!

They're made from Yew, and finished with friction polish and a little clear Bri-wax.
I think by far yew makes the best mushrooms... but if the wood is not dry... it does have a tendency to crack
