Ply Wood Suppliers (...and wooden photo albums)

Hello from a newbie! I'm after your help. I'm part of a business called Spencer-Brookes Designs and we do all things laser engraving. The problem we currently have though is sourcing decent plywood. We are after nice looking light ply (no thicker than 3mm) and also some decent thin ply (i.e. 1.5mm). Anybody got any decent suggestions? We've tried a few places and come to dead ends. Our local building supplier is ok for darker ply, but we want options

Also, a slightly different request, do any of you clever folk make wooden photo albums or know someone who does/supplies them?

When I used to live near Bath I used Robbins Timber in Bristol. They had the best selection I ever found. Have a look at page 12 of their list http://www.robbins.co.uk/pdf/Retail_Pricelist.pdf .

Mindsets do a laser quality ply which is good for cutting on lasers (less resins in the glue) and also HPC Laser do a 3mm ply.

Have you tried Severn Ply ? They deliver to Herefordshire at a reasonable cost. Quality seems good as well.
