I have just found out the hard (& wet) way how important planning your project out properly is,i recently filled the odd gap in kitchen units to smarten it all up abit, not realising that i had completley covered the main water tap & yes you guessed it we had a major pipe burst upstairs last night.Twenty minutes to get the unit out resulted in a ruined dinning room, the wife was not impressed lol,so this morning i've cut a section out the base of the unit for future & easy access (its only a small bin unit) something i should of done from the begining.

Doh!!

Just try to sell the benefits of a water feature in your dining room. You could be healthy and grow your own mushrooms in the carpet, or put a paddling pool in there for the kids. Maybe just put the heating and fire on for that Sauna/Solarium feeling too.

Hope all goes well with the insurance co' and your wife.
