This was my next drawing after my initial sketch.Thought i had do a neater drawing to show.
This is my final design drawing.I was origianally just going to make a normal bench but thought of this when we got some items out for the garden that had covers on.So instead of just throwing the covers etc in the corner they can now go in the drawer.
Bench is made from some Oak i had,not brilliant but managed to get enough out to do the bench.
The back will now have a slight lean back and the drawer will be jointed using through dovetails.
Also the seat will be made sloping back and will have a 12mm gap at the back for the rain to run off,missing the drawer which will be made slightly shorter than the depth of the bench.
