Norm Turns Bowls

Today Norm was trying his hand at turning bowls. Good show, very interesting, would love to have a go at this one day.

the opening shots of that other guy truning massive chunks was something else... I just need to persuade the Head of Domestic trivia that sanding rough tool marks from bowls would be very therapeutic :lol:

Give me a call when you decide to try it... I know it's showboating but Norm could do with a few hints :roll:

That guy with the router mounted in the lathe-can someone please show him how to use a gouge? :lol:
Lordy-I wonder how many routers a week he goes through???

Good to see Norm getting stuck in-if he can do it then I think its all the encouragement anyone needs! :lol: (no dis-respect, Norm :wink: )

i think next year at working class i might give this a go. They have a lathe, not sure if they have the right tools tho
