I used the router without any issues yesterday, however this morning has not been so good. The first problem was it seemed the like power for the router was shorting out - it was slowing down/stopping and starting again, and this was whilst not actually cutting. I also think I smelt some burning.

I left it a while and tried again and it seemed to work fine, until I stopped it check my cuts and then it refused to spin up - even though the power button is lit up. I left it for a while again and tried the router in my kitchen where it worked fine. I took it back outside and it stopped working again. I then tried a differnt plug for the extention lead, and it worked once. I've now tried it again in the kitchen and it is not powering up.

I can't have killed it so quickly? Maybe I've clogged something up??

Looks like it - very annoying as I had one more cut to do! :(

Mate that's annoying :x
Definitely that it should go back

I have the same router and so far mine has been OK but its only done a couple of hours work.

Have a look at the youtube clip called "Triton Router Problem" where the MOF001 speed adjustment has a glitch

It may be the same fault as yours

Cheers
Chris

Thanks Chris - although the problem was more to do with power than speed. I've logged a return notification with the vendor.
