Recently retired and taken up my woodworking again after a 40 year pause - first job is to find a replacement belt for my venerable Myford ML8 (1956 model) as the original belt is starting to split.

Welcome!
Are there any markings on the belt? If not, then there are charts online with lengths and other dimensions. Is it a V section? I found one on eBay or Amazon that fits my lathe, I think it was sold as a lawn mower belt, but seems to do the job.

There are a few historical posts on these forums relating to ML8 belts. Seems they were supplied with link belts. Do a search and you'll find the threads.
